How to join
It's an approval-only server. Ask below and I'll let you in, then it's the usual connect.
0 players just means nobody is playing. The server is switched off when it is empty, so ask to join and it will be put up immediately.
- Request access
Fill in the form below with your username, age and Steam profile. I read every request myself.
- Wait for the okay
As soon as I've looked, you're on the list. Use Check your status on this page to see where you are. If you leave a Discord name, I may message you.
- Open Rust
Start Rust from Steam and let it update. The server updates itself when the game does.
- Connect
Press F1 to open the console and type
client.connect rustsystems.uk:28015. You can also search RUST SYSTEMS UK in the server browser.
If you connect before you're on the list, you'll be kicked with a message pointing back here. Nothing is wrong with your game. Just send a request.

Approval only
Everyone who plays has been let in by hand. It keeps the server friendly, and cheaters out.
Vanilla Rust
Plain Rust as Facepunch made it. No plugins and nothing to buy.
Looked after
The world saves every 5 minutes, is backed up every hour, and updates itself when Rust does.
House rules
No cheating
No hacks, scripts or exploits. Cheaters are removed for good.
Be decent
Raid and fight as hard as you like in game, but no hate, harassment or threats, in game or out.
Admin has the last word
If an admin asks you to stop something, stop it. If you think it was unfair, talk to me.
FAQ
I connected and got kicked
That means you're not on the approved list yet. Send a request, and once I've approved you, connect again.
How long until I'm approved?
As soon as I get to it. You can check where you are at any time with the status box on this page.
Why do you want my age and Steam profile?
The Steam profile is how the server recognises you, so I can let you in. Your age and message help me decide who I'm letting in. Only I see them, and they're deleted 90 days after I decide.
Where do I find my Steam link?
Open Steam, click your name at the top, choose Profile, then copy the address from the page. It looks like steamcommunity.com/id/yourname or steamcommunity.com/profiles/7656…. Or paste your username into steamid.io and copy the steamID64.
I can't find the server in the list
Use the console instead: press F1 and type client.connect rustsystems.uk:28015. If it doesn't answer, check the status at the top of this page. If it shows 0 players, nobody is playing and the server is switched off, so ask to join and it will be put up immediately.
The game says my version doesn't match
Update Rust from Steam. The server updates itself shortly after a new patch, so give it a little while.
